Digital ceramic printed glass uses UV-stable ceramic ink, digitally printed directly onto the glass surface and fused during tempering, to produce full-color, high-resolution graphics, patterns, or branding that become a permanent part of the glass.
Solar and building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) glass incorporates thin-film or crystalline photovoltaic cells into the glass makeup, allowing the glazing itself to generate electricity while serving as the building envelope.
Bird-friendly glass incorporates a visible pattern — fritted dots, stripes, or a UV-reflective coating — that birds can perceive as a solid surface, reducing bird collision fatalities while remaining largely unobtrusive to human vision.
Self-cleaning glass carries a photocatalytic and hydrophilic coating that breaks down organic dirt under UV exposure and allows rainwater to sheet off the surface rather than beading, reducing the frequency of manual cleaning.
Low-emissivity (Low-E) glass carries a microscopically thin metallic or metal-oxide coating that reflects infrared heat while allowing visible light to pass through, reducing heat transfer without significantly darkening the glass. IGUs combine two or more glass lites separated by a spacer bar and a sealed, air- or gas-filled cavity, reducing heat transfer versus single-pane glazing. Can incorporate Low-E coatings, laminated lites, and gas fills (argon/krypton) to hit specific U-value and SHGC targets for your project.
Anti-glare/anti-reflective (AR) glass carries a coating that reduces surface light reflection, improving visibility through the glass and minimizing glare — commonly specified for display, retail, and daylighting applications where reflection interferes with visibility.
Spandrel glass is opacified glass, typically produced by applying a ceramic frit coating, used to conceal structural elements such as floor slabs, columns, and mechanical systems behind a curtain wall while maintaining a consistent facade appearance.
Curved (bent) glass is float glass heated until pliable and formed over a mold to a specified radius, then annealed, heat-strengthened, or tempered depending on the performance requirement. Used wherever flat glass can't achieve the design geometry.
