Float glass is flat sheet glass produced by floating molten glass over a bed of molten tin, creating smooth surfaces and uniform thickness.

Float glass is used in windows, doors, façades, interior partitions, furniture glass and as the base material for processed glass products.
3. Can float glass be tempered or laminated?
Yes. Float glass can be further processed into tempered glass or laminated safety glass for enhanced performance.
